God has great plans for each of us. But in times of doubt and uncertainty and when fear overtakes our faith it is easy to lose sight of God’s promises. These Scriptures remind us that God is always beside us and reassuring us that he has an amazing plan for our lives; we simply need to trust in him and restore our faith in the Bible.

Psalm 37:5
Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will do it.

Psalm 37:23-24 NLT
The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.

Proverbs 16:1-3 NLT
We can make our own plans, but the LORD gives the right answer. We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps. People may be pure in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their motives. Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.

Psalm 33:10-11 NLT
The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.

Psalm 119:26-27 NLT
I told you my plans, and you answered. Now teach me your decrees. Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.

Psalm 138:8 NLT
The LORD will work out his plans for my life- for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

Jeremiah 29:11-14 NLT
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

Psalm 146:3-9 NLT
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are weighed down. The LORD loves the godly. The LORD protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.

Proverbs 15:22,26 NLT
Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success. The LORD detests evil plans, but he delights in pure words.

Proverbs 19:21 NLT
You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.

Romans 8:28,31,37 NLT
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
