We had an amazing campus retreat this past weekend, entitled “Bold,” and we want to see our faith, inspiration, and boldness continue growing through the end of school and into the summer.  For the next 7 days, we will be releasing daily quiet time starters “Living Boldly” to kick start our day and inspire us to take action.  Our theme Scripture inspires us how we can impact those around us.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-5 NIV
For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you, [5] because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

This passage breaks down the 7 areas we need to focus on to Live Boldly.  We will be focusing on each of these topics and the book of Acts to teach and inspire one another to Live Boldly!  Join us on a journey to become bold.

Daily Quiet Time Starters

Part 1 – Loved by God

Part 2 – Chosen

Part 3 – Not Simply Words

Part 4 – Spiritual Power

Part 5 – Holy Spirit

Part 6 – Deep Convictions

Part 7 – Living Boldly!

Part 1 – Loved by God

Romans 8:35-39 NIV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? [36] As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” [37] No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. [38] For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, [39] neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God can help us overcome anything in our lives. No weakness, sin, mistake can separate us from Him. When we live understanding how much we are loved by God, we can conquer anything and be bold in any situation.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NIV
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, [17] encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

God’s love never runs out (eternal encouragement). Only with understanding of God’s love can we live bodily as it strengthens us on the inside.

1 John 4:16-19 NIV
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. [17] This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. [18] There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. [19] We love because he first loved us.

We have no fear when focused on God’s love and loving other people.  When we experience God’s love first hand, we can love other people with the same kind of boldness.
