Gratitude is something that we talk about a lot this time of year. But actually, in the Bible being thankful is something we should focus on all the time. Here are some Scriptures that can help us to focus on gratitude going into the holiday.

Psalm 7:17
Oh, how grateful and thankful I am to the Lord because he is so good. I will sing praise to the name of the Lord who is above all lords.

Psalm 99:3
Let them express praise and gratitude to Your amazing and awesome name— because He is holy, perfect and exalted in His power.

Psalm 142:7
Lift my captive soul from this dark prison so I may render to You my gratitude; Then Your righteous people will gather around me because You will treat me with astounding goodness.

Acts 24:3
We always and everywhere welcome every thought of you with high and deep gratitude.

Ephesians 3:20

Now to the God who can do so many awe-inspiring things, immeasurable things, things greater than we ever could ask or imagine through the power at work in us, 21 to Him be all glory in the church and in Jesus the Anointed from this generation to the next, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 5:20
Always give thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 2:7
Keep your roots deep in him and have your lives built on him. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always be thankful.

Hebrews 12:28
So let us be thankful, because we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken. We should worship God in a way that pleases him with respect and fear,

1 Thessalonians 5:18
No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
